One typeface, one violet.
Minn’s logo is an m on a violet tile and the name beside it, all in Hanken Grotesk, the typeface of every Minn page. This page is how to use it, with every file ready to download.
The mark
An m on a violet tile. The m is Hanken Grotesk Black, one weight heavier than the name beside it. It is stored as an outline, so it looks the same on every screen and in every file, whatever fonts are installed. The tile’s corners round off at a quarter of its side.
Use the tile wherever Minn needs an icon: favicons, avatars, app icons, a plugin’s menu entry. Use the m on its own only where the background is already decided, such as one-color print or an embossed badge.
The wordmark
minn, lowercase, in Hanken Grotesk ExtraBold, tightened by 0.02em. It stays smaller than the tile, so the icon leads and the name follows.
The wordmark is the only place the name is lowercase. In a sentence it is Minn.
Lockups
The tile comes first, then the wordmark about a third of the tile after it. A product is one more word of the wordmark, set the same way: minn admin, minn engine.
- Clear space. Keep a quarter of the tile’s side empty on every side.
- Smallest size. 20 px tall for a lockup. Below that, use the tile alone.
- Don’t assemble one by hand. Download the lockup you need.
Color
Violet, and very little else. Dark is the default surface and light follows the reader’s setting. The status colors carry meaning, so they never decorate. Click a swatch to copy its value.

wp minn info
- Headlines at 800 with tight tracking, about −0.03em. Sentence case, often a full sentence with its period.
- Text at 400, 16 to 18.5 px, line height 1.55 to 1.6, in the secondary text color.
- Labels at 750, uppercase, tracked out to 0.09em, in violet.
Names and words
| Name | What it is | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Minn | The project, and what people install | Headlines, install steps, the footer. The default. |
| Minn Engine | The runtime, by its developer name | Code, docs and changelogs, the way WordPress core is used. |
| Minn Admin | The interface | The only UI on Minn, and a plugin for WordPress sites. |
- Write Minn with a capital M. Lowercase belongs to the wordmark and to slugs and addresses:
minn-admin,minn.run. - Never MINN, MinnEngine or Minn engine.
- Short sentences. Measured numbers over adjectives. No em dash inside a sentence.
- WordPress appears only to say what Minn works with: “compatible with WordPress sites.” Never in a Minn product name, feature, slogan or domain, never as a claim that Minn is WordPress, and never beside the WordPress logo.
Misuse
The mark works only as drawn. Each of these breaks it.
Downloads
Everything in one zip, or one file at a time. SVG wherever it will go, PNG where it won’t.
The code is MIT licensed. The name and mark identify the Minn project: use them to point at Minn, never to suggest Minn made or endorses something it didn’t.
