How it grew

Each step is a commit. Four shares on one scale: of the calls a real site's plugins make into WordPress functions, the share that reach a function Minn implements, and the share that a probe also compares with WordPress's own answer; then the share of all wp-includes and of all wp-admin functions. wp-admin stays low on purpose: Minn Admin is the only interface, so admin screens are recorded for plugins, never drawn. Point at the chart, or focus it and use the arrow keys, to read each commit.

Commits are spaced evenly, so the quiet weeks between bursts of work take no room; the faint lines mark the start of each day with commits.
